The data is collected exclusively in pseudonymized form, i.e. the IDs are not linked to your other personal data, and direct personal identification is excluded.
You can object to this tracking at any time by clicking on the separate link provided in every e-mail or by informing us via another contact channel. 9. online advertising
DoubleClick by Google
If the user agrees, this website will continue to use the online marketing tool DoubleClick by Google. DoubleClick uses cookies to display ads that are relevant to users, to improve campaign performance reports or to prevent a user from seeing the same ads more than once. Google uses a cookie ID to record which ads are displayed in which browser and can thus prevent them from being displayed more than once. In addition, DoubleClick can use cookie IDs to record so-called conversions that are related to ad requests. This is the case, for example, when a user sees a DoubleClick ad and later visits the advertiser's website with the same browser and makes a purchase there. According to Google, DoubleClick cookies do not contain any personal information.
Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Google server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool and therefore inform you according to our level of knowledge: Through the integration of DoubleClick, Google receives the information that you have called up the corresponding part of our website or clicked on an advertisement from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, there is a possibility that the provider will find out your IP address and store it.
You can prevent participation in this tracking process in various ways: a) by not giving your consent; b) by setting your browser software accordingly, in particular by suppressing third-party cookies so that you do not receive ads from third-party providers; c) by deactivating interest-based ads on Google via the link http://www.google.de/ads/preferences, whereby this setting will be deleted if you delete your cookies; d) by deactivating the interest-based ads of the providers that are part of the "About Ads" self-regulation campaign via the link http://www.aboutads.info/choiceswhere this setting is deleted when cookies are deleted; e) by permanently deactivating them in your Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browsers via the link http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. 13 Outbrain Amplify
We use the services of Outbrain UK Limited,London, UK (www.outbrain.com). This use is based on our legitimate interests in the economic operation of our online offer (within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR).
We provide Outbrain with content (e.g. ads) that Outbrain delivers to readers within its network based on their interests. To display this content, Outbrain uses cookies that are stored on the user's device. Outbrain assigns a UUID (unique user ID) to each reader who interacts with Outbrain's widget (which contains the customer content). The UUID is an anonymized IP address (the last octet of the IP address is removed). This UUID is attached to the reader's device and varies depending on which browser is used. A user can therefore have several UUIDs.
Based on the UUID, Outbrain catalogs and analyzes the content that the UUID consumes on partner sites in order to recommend further relevant content for this specific UUID.
The data collected by Outbrain also includes:
- User agent data: Device type (e.g. iPhone), browser type (e.g. Chrome), operating system (e.g. iOS);
- the pages visited;
- the time of the visit; and
- referring URLs and other information normally transmitted in HTTP requests.
You can find more information about Outbrain in Outbrain's privacy policy at http://www.outbrain.com/legal/privacy. To object to the use of cookies, please click here http://www.outbrain.com/legal/privacy and scroll down to "2. Users d) Outbrain Opt-out". There you will find a detailed list of the various cookies (https://www.outbrain.com/legal/#cookies) and an explanation and list of the various opt-out options (https://my.outbrain.com/recommendations-settings/home, http://www.aboutads.info/choices, www.youradchoices.ca/choices, www.youronlinechoices.eu).
Outbrain Pixel
Within our online offer, we use a pixel ("Outbrain pixel") from Outbrain UK Limited, London, UK, based on our legitimate interests in analyzing and optimizing our online offer (within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR) (www.outbrain.com).
The purpose of the Outbrain pixel is to provide analytics related to our campaigns (ads) and advanced targeting features. The pixel records which Outbrain UUID (unique user ID) has interacted on pages where the pixel is installed, as well as the relevant timestamp, the referring source and the fact that a conversion has taken place. The pixel only tracks activity on an anonymized basis. The pixel does not track or collect any personal data. If the Outbrain pixel is implemented and you visit our website, the Outbrain pixel determines whether you have an Outbrain UUID. If this is the case, we receive from Outbrain the total number of UUIDs that have reached the site. We also have the option of retargeting these UUIDs. If no UUID is detected, the Outbrain pixel does not collect any information.
You can find more information about Outbrain in Outbrain's privacy policy at http://www.outbrain.com/legal/privacy. To object to the use of cookies, please click here http://www.outbrain.com/legal/privacy and scroll down to "2. Users d) Outbrain Opt-out".
